Before you can use Reflex with another
MIDI device, both units must be set to the
same MIDI channel. If you know what chan-
nel your controller is on, you can select
Reflex MIDI channel manually in Advanced
Programming Mode.
You can also have Reflex automatically
set itself to the controller's MIDI channel with
the following simple procedure:
1. Set the controller (keyboard, foot control-
ler, etc.) to any MIDI Channel (1-16).
2. Hold down the Reflex PARAMETER/
LEARN button and send any complete
message from the controller (Program
Change, note, etc.)
3. Release the Reflex PARAMETER/
LEARN button. Reflex sets itself to the
channel you just used.
Note that this procedure will also clear
any patches which may have been stored
with the effect. "CL" will appear on the
display to indicate patches have been
cleared.

Learning a MIDI Channel

To put Reflex on the same
channel as your controller,
press and hold the
PARAMETER/LEARN
button while sending
a complete MIDI
message from
your controller.
