Defining Interface Settings

The VLAN Interface Setting Page provides parameters for managing ports that are part of a VLAN. The
port default VLAN ID (PVID) is configured on the VLAN Port Settings page. All untagged packets
arriving to the device are tagged by the ports PVID.
1. Click Bridging > VLAN Management > Interface Setting. The VLAN Interface Setting Page
opens:
The VLAN Interface Setting Page contains the following fields:
Port — Indicates that ports are indicated in the page.
LAG — Indicates that LAGs are indicated in the page.
Of Unit — Displays the stacking member for which the VLAN parameters are displayed.
Interface — The port number included in the VLAN.
Interface VLAN Mode — Indicates the port mode. Possible values are:
General — The port belongs to VLANs, and each VLAN is user-defined as tagged or
untagged (full 802.1Q mode).
Access — The port belongs to a single untagged VLAN. When a port is in Access mode, the
packet types which are accepted on the port (packet type) cannot be designated. It is also not
possible to enable/disable ingress filtering on an access port.
