Tailmate
Tailgate Lock Release
Use your key to lock or unlock your tailgate.
If you have a convertible, you can still open
or
close the
tailgate with the rear window closed.

open because carbon monoxide (CO) gas can
come into your vehicle. You can't see or smell
death. If you must drive with the tailgate open or
if electrical wiring or other cable connections
must pass through the seal between the body
and the tailgate:
