lean top beef round steak,
cut into 2.5 cm cubes
2 large
green pepper, cut into chunks
2 medium
tomatoes, cut into quarters
250 ml
1 c
canned pineapple chunks, drained
Steak Kabobs
1. Mix sugar, soy sauce, wine, oil, ginger and salt in medium
bowl. Stir in steak cubes; cover. Marinate at room
temperature 1 hour or at least 4 hours in refrigerator.
2. Preheat oven at 450˚F or use BROIL setting. Remove
steak cubes from marinade; reserve marinade. Thread
steak cubes alternately with remaining ingredients on 8
wooden or metal skewers. Place on broiling trivet. Broil
until desire doneness, 7 to 9 minutes, brushing with
marinade after half the time.
Note:
Skewers up to 30 cm can be used.
