4. Frame your image in the camera's LCD
monitor, then click on Capture.
• The image is recorded to the image memory card.
• Repeat step 4 to record more images with the same settings.
. To view the captured image, switch to the viewer panel. Click on
Viewer... (p. 22). The thumbnail previews will be displayed. To
display the full-size image (640 x 480 pixels), double-click on the
thumbnail preview.
Leaving the Dimâge V in record mode will reduce the battery
life. Switch the camera to play mode when not recording with
the computer. Use of the AC adapter AC-V1 (sold
separately) is recommended when recording remotely.

EXPOSURE COMPENSATION

Adjust the exposure before taking a picture.
1. Select Record Mode from the Minolta Dimage V
menu.
2. Set the flash mode and image quality (p. 55).
3. Select Capture with Exposure Compensation...
from the Minolta Dimage V menu.
• The following dialog box will appear.
4. Select the exposure compensation level by
sliding the lever to the desired increment.
• Values between the marks cannot be selected.
5. Frame your image in the camera's LCD monitor,
then click on Capture.
