Checking/Changing Switch Settings

The NEC Versa LitePad tablet PC has a four-position dip switch on the
bottom of the tablet PC. Switches are identified as follows:
Switch 1 — Password Override switch
The default setting is "OFF." If you forget the password you set in
the BIOS Setup utility and you cannot access BIOS Setup or
Windows, change the setting to "ON" and your current password is
erased.

clear your Windows password.
Switch 2 — Logo Select switch
The default setting is "OFF" for the U.S. logo.
Switch 3 — Crisis Recovery Boot from Boot Block switch
The default setting is "OFF" for a Normal boot. The "ON" setting
is for a Boot block.
Switch 4 — Reserved for factory use. Default setting is "OFF."
