Observe the following instructions:
Do not flip the throttle open abruptly
when the engine is running at low speed,
both during and after the running-in
period.
0-62 mi (0-100 km)
Apply the brakes gently and avoid hard,
prolonged braking until covering the first
62 mi (100 km). This will allow the brake
pad lining to wear in properly rubbing on
the brake discs.
0-312 mi (0-500 km)
Never exceed 80% of top speed during
the first 312 mi (500 km).
Vary speed frequently.
After the first 625 mi (1,000 km),
progressively increase speed until
reaching max. performance.

STOPPING

WARNING
If possible, avoid stopping abruptly or
s l o w i n g d o w n s u d d e n l y . B r a k e
progressively and in good time.
Release the throttle twistgrip (pos. A)
and apply the brakes gradually to stop
the vehicle.
When stopping for a short time, keep at
least one brake on.
WARNING
Park the vehicle on firm and level
ground to prevent it falling over. Do not
lean the vehicle against walls and do
not lay it down on the ground. Make
sure that the vehicle, and in particular
hot vehicle components, may not put
the safety of persons and children at
r i s k . D o n o t l e a v e t h e v e h i c l e
unattended with the engine running or
with the key inserted into the ignition
switch. Do not sit on the vehicle when
the stand is down.
Stop
the
vehicle,
