Allows the manager to set values for object variables within an agent.
Trap
Used by the agent to inform the manager of some events.

SNMP Traps
The VES sends traps to an SNMP manager when an event occurs. SNMP traps supported are outlined in the
following table.

From the Access Control screen, display the SNMP screen. You can click Access Control to go back to the

This trap is sent when the VES is turned on.
This trap is sent when the VES restarts.
This trap is sent when the Ethernet link is down.
This trap is sent when the Ethernet link is up.
This trap is sent when an SNMP request comes from non-
authenticated hosts.
