Set [Focus Method] to =. (p.86)
Autofocus is not locked (focus lock) when
[Autofocus Method] is set to [Face
Detection] or [Tracking]. The camera will
continue focusing on the subject while the
shutter release button is pressed halfway.
If there is a subject that you want to focus
on, set [Autofocus Method] to [AF Select
(25 Points)], [Select], or [Spot], and use
the focus lock. (p.91)
