Problem
The message "The
monitor is entering
sleep mode following
the set period of
inactivity. Press any
button to resume
operations." is
shown on the LCD
monitor and the TV
screen.
• Printer does not
operate when the
button is pressed.
• The menu is not
displayed even
when the MENU
button is pressed.
No image is
displayed.
The image on the
TV is not displayed
clearly.
Cause and Remedy
• When "Sleep" is set to [10min] or [5min], this message
is displayed if the printer has not been used for the time
selected. The message is cleared by pressing any

button.
The LCD monitor is automatically turned off 1
minute after this message is displayed.
• Has the printer unit become hot?
⇒ If the inside of the unit becomes hot, buttons may
stop functioning and the printer may stop midway
through printing. If this happens, the PRINT lamp will
light. This is not a malfunction. Please wait for the
temperature to go down.
• Have you inserted the memory card correctly?
⇒ Insert the memory card correctly.
• Have you inserted a memory card that is not compatible
with this printer?
⇒ Check that the format of the memory card is
compatible with the printer.
• Are the printer and the TV connected correctly?
⇒ Connect the printer and the TV correctly.
