∫ Canceling setting
If you press and hold [LCD MODE] again
for 1 second the screen shown in step
displayed. Select [OFF] to cancel a setting.
• The number of recordable pictures
decreases in Auto power LCD mode or
Power LCD mode.
• The brightness of the pictures displayed
on the LCD monitor screen are increased
in Auto power LCD and Power LCD.
Therefore, some subjects may look
different on the LCD monitor. However,
this does not affect the recorded pictures.
• The LCD monitor automatically returns to
normal brightness after 30 seconds when
recording in Power LCD mode. Press any
button to make the LCD monitor bright
again.
• If the screen is difficult to see because of
light from the sun etc. shining on it, use your
hand or another object to block the light.
• Auto power LCD mode is not activated in
the following case.

LCD Monitor

This is convenient as it allows you to take
pictures from various angles by adjusting
the LCD monitor when taking pictures with
Live View.

Take hold of the LCD monitor open knob A
with your fingers, pull the knob towards you
and rotate the monitor 180o.

• This is convenient when there is someone
in front of you and you cannot get close to
the subject.
∫ Taking pictures at a low angle
Take hold of the LCD monitor open knob
with your fingers, and pull the knob toward
you and rotate the monitor 180o.
• This is convenient when taking pictures of
flowers etc. that are in a low position.
