Enter the MAC address in XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX format and reserved IP address in
dotted-decimal notation of the computer for which you want to reserve an IP address.
Note:
The MAC Address and IP Address added in
may be different to your circs.

Select Enable from the State drop-down list.

Click the Save button, then you will go back to the Address Reservation screen and see
the new entry as shown in Figure 4-27.

Click Save/Reboot button to save the settings and reboot the Router.
Note:
The function won't take effect until the router reboots.

4.5.3 MAC Clone

Choose "Advanced Setup→MAC Clone" menu, you can configure the MAC address of the WAN
on the screen below..
Some ISPs require that you register the MAC Address of your adapter. Changes are rarely
needed here.
WAN MAC Address - This field displays the current MAC address of the WAN port. If your ISP
requires you to register the MAC address, please enter the correct MAC address into this field
in XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX format (X is any hexadecimal digit).
Your PC's MAC Address - This field displays the MAC address of the PC that is managing the
Router. If the MAC address is required, you can click the Clone MAC Address button and this
MAC address will be filled in the WAN MAC Address field.
Click Restore Factory MAC to restore the MAC address of WAN port to the factory default value.
Click the Save/Reboot button to save your settings.
Note:
1)
Only the PC on your LAN can use the MAC Address Clone function.
2)
Your configuration won't take effect unless the ADSL Router is rebooted.
3)
MAC Clone can't be used with port mirror. If they are set both, the Router will be down.
