Receive Using Infrared - Motorola A008 User Manual

The infrared port is used for data communication with compatible devices such as a peer A008
device or other PDA/phone that have infrared port compliant to the OBEX standard.
To receive information from another A008:
1 Turn on the IrDA transmission feature at the sending A008. For example, in the address book,
press the at the upper right hand corner of the contact information screen.
2 Adjust the angle and the distance between the devices, and tap
receiver A008 and the following sequence of events should occur providing the devices
establish
a connection.
3 If the phone cannot find the transmitting device, the following messages will be displayed:
Tap OK to return to the Main Menu.
