BASIC OPERATION
SEARCHING FOR A PARTICULAR POINT IN
A TRACK
You can locate a particular point in a track during play by monitoring
the high-speed cueing sound or observing the CD counter in the

To search back
Keep the 44 DOWN button pressed and release it at the desired
point.
To search forward
Keep the M
UP button pressed and release it at the desired point.
SKIPPING TO THE BEGINNING OF A TRACK
You can locate
the beginning
of any track
on a disc.

To return to the beginning of the current or previous track
Press the 44 DOWN button once to return to the beginning of the
current track.
Press the 44 DOWN button repeatedly to skip tracks backward
one by one.
To skip tracks
Press the M
UP button repeatedly to skip track(s) forward one by
one.
SELECTING A TRACK DIRECTLY
By using the numeric buttons on the remote control, any track on
any disc can be played directly. + See illustration

Press one of the DISC DIRECT PLAY buttons on the main unit
or remote control to select a disc.
2 Press the numeric buttons and the +1O button on the remote
control to select a track.
Play begins with that track, and all the tracks on the disc are
played. -
To select the 6th track, press the 6 button. + See illustration

To select the 16th track, press the +1Oand 6 buttons. ~ See

To select the 20th track, press the +1Obutton twice and then
