START-UP GUIDE
This section explains how to play with the Spider-Man
®
Laptop. It is recommended to read
the complete user guide for detailed instructions and safety warnings.
1. Lift the laptop's cover.
2. Press the ON/OFF key
to turn on the laptop.
3. Press the
key to access the activity menu. Use the left and right arrow keys on the
joystick to select an activity category (Letters, First words, Numbers, Maths and Logic,
Foreign Language, Music and Games). Press
to confirm
4. Browse the activities within a category list using the up and down arrow keys, and
press
to launch an activity. You can also select an activity by typing its activity number.
5. The activities are played using the keyboard and the joystick. For more details on how
to play the various activities, please refer to the activity section on page 4.
6. The Spider-Man Laptop is a bilingual toy. All activities and menus are available in both
American English and Spanish. To switch from one language to the other, go back to the
menu and use the left and right arrow keys to display the country flag. The flag indicates
the language currently selected. To change the language, press ENTER.
INTRODUCTION
The Spider-Man Laptop is the ideal educational laptop to discover school subjects. Along with
your superhero Spider-Man, you will learn the alphabet, new words, numbers, basic
mathematics, some Spanish and music through the activities. There are also five thrilling
games included! The greatest challenge of this laptop is the mission mode where your grasp
and knowledge of all the activities will be tested. Please read the instructions below to learn
how to use your new laptop and play the various activities.
