These devices must now be labelled with the product function designated by the manufacturer. This means placing clearly visible symbols on the
device itself.
Devices with an isolating function are subject to special safety requirements. They must for example have greater creepage distances and clear-
ances across the opened contacts than is necessary for other devices.
