Quick Timer Recording
This function is convenient, for example, when you want
to begin recording a program immediately, and do
something else.
The timer can be set to operate within 8 hours in units of
30 minutes.
Before You Begin
Set INPUT SELECT to TUNER (ie TUNER indicator
appears.)
*Set the tape speed to SP or EP with REC MODE.
*REC LEVEL must be set to the Ejlposition.
*The TIMER REC indicator must not be displayed. Press
TIMER REC ON/OFF if the indicator is lit.
If you are recording now, perform only step 3.

1 Insert a cassette.
Press QUICK TIMER.
The TIMER indicator lights.

While the channel display is blinking in the display
window, select the desired channel with CHANNEL
+{- or the channel number button(s) and ENTER.

Press QUICK TIMER again so that recording starts.
Now decide the recording duration.
Every time you press QUICK TIMER, the recording
duration displayed increases by 30 minutes.
You can leave the VCR after turning off the TV.
The power of the VCR will be turned off automatically
when preset duration comes.
