CANCELLATION OF PROGRAMMED
; PLAYBACK AND CLEARING A PROGRAM

By specifying disc numbers from 1 to 6, and track numbers from 1
to 98, you can select up to 32 steps for playback in any order you
like.
Memorizing a program
1. During stop mode, press PROGRAM
button.
2. Select a disc number with DISC NUMBER buttons
and a track with Manual/Track
search
button
(He + 4, ee. et),
3. Press PROGRAM button.
4, Repeat procedures 2 and 3.
Each time you program a track, the program step, the number of
the programmed disc and track are displayed on the indicator.
NOTE:
# you attempt to program track numbers which do not actually exist
on a disc, those track numbers will be deleted from the program
during playback.
A pause can be programmed in the same way asa
track, by pressing
Pause button (Hf) on a remote controi unit; however, a pause counts
as one step.
NOTE;
[Application Example 1]
When recording on both sides of a cassette tape: program for a
Pause to occur after the completion of the last track, before the first
side of the tape runs out, to enable recording of the next track to
begin after the tape has been turned over.

the fast programmed
track finishes playing, the player
enters stop mode, {All operations stop, and the player stops at the
position of the first programmed track.)

® Pressing stop button (i) will cause playback to stop. In this case
the program stored in memory will not be cleared. To clear the
program, press stop button {l) once more.

magazine will eject and the program will be cleared.
PROGRAMMING

1. During playback, press PROGRAM
button.
4. When finished press play button.
The indicator
will then display
(for 5 seconds) the total number of
steps programmed.
NOTE:
playback, or random playback.
