Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in
NOTE:
Ensure that your computer is in Service Mode. For more information, see step 6 in
computer.
2. Remove the
base
cover.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Remove the speakers.
5. Remove the
graphics procesing unit
6. Remove the
processor
7. Remove the
heat
sink.
8. Remove the
wireless
card.
9. Remove the
display
assembly.
10. Remove the
system
board.
NOTE:
The system board can be removed with the heat sink attached.
11. Remove the
power-adapter
12. Remove the
I/O
board.
13. Remove the
power
button.
14. Remove the
I/O-board
15. Remove the
audio
board.
16. Remove the touchpad.
