External synchronization
Operation of the camera can be synchronized with an
external reference sync signal. When a multi-camera
system is built using a number of DXC-930/930Ps, this
feature permits video switching and special effect
operations to be carried out without involving camera-to-
camera variations in picture tone.
Useful interfaces for building a powerful camera
system
¢ Three formats of video output are available (composite,
Y/C, and R/G/B) to supply a high quality picture
signal to various types of video monitor, VTR, and
other video equipment.
e An RM-930 remote control unit (not supplied) can be
connected to the camera.
© Connecting
a CCU-M3/M3P/M7/M7P camera control
unit (not supplied) to the camera will permit picture
signal transmission over a long cable line of up to 100 m
(328 feet) (for the CCU-M3/M3P) or 300 m (984 feet)
(for the CCU-M7/M7P).
