Some quick and easy tips to resolving problems using the TV as a Computer Monitor
Symptoms
Computer Image
Poor or no computer picture. • Poor Connections.
Local interference.
Fuzzy computer picture.
Poor computer picture.
Daisy-Chain TVs have
no picture.

Possible Cause(s)
• Card not fully inserted.
• TV/Computer not turned on.
• Wrong TV source selected.
• 800 x 600 @60 Hz not set.
• Cable over 25 feet.
• Check for disturbing source.
• Appliance too close to TV.
or computer.
• 800 x 600 @60 Hz not set.
• Computer display output is
not optimized.
• S-Video cables not
connected between source TV
and daisy-chained TVs.
• S-Video not selected
on other daisy-chain TVs.
• Rear Computer NTSC Out,
not selected for viewing on
source TV in daisy-chain series.
Possible Solution(s)
-Check all cable connections.
-Be sure green light appears on PCZ300 scan card.
-Turn TV/Computer on.
-Select the TV source the computer is connected to.
-On the Computer, set display output to 800 x 600 @60 Hz.
-Set up Computer/TV where an excessively long cable is not needed.
The following may cause image problems or distortion:
Electrical appliances, powerful lights, cars, trucks; computers or
portable phones; medical equipment
-If possible increase the distance between your TV and computer
and the offending appliance. Or shut one of them off.
-On the computer, set display output to 800 x 600 @60 Hz.
-See pages 10 or 11 for instructions to optimize computer's image.
-Connect cables properly.
-Select S-Video input as the source on daisy-chained TVs.
-Select "Rear Computer NTSC Out" on source TV in daisy-chain.
