Erasing unwanted index markers

3 To skip back from the current position: Press
the REW button.
To skip forward from the current position:
Press the F FWD button.
The SVO-9500MD/9500MDP scans through the
tape, and each time it detects an index marker, the
count is reduced by one. When the count reaches
zero, playback begins.
To stop the skip operation
Press any tape transport button other than
F FWD
or REW.
The skip operation ends, and the INDEX indicator
on the SVO-9500MD/9500MDP goes off.
The SVO-9500MD/9500MDP automatically ends the
skip operation at the beginning or end of the tape.
1 With the SVO-9500MD/9500MDP in playback,
stopped or paused state, press the INDEX button.
The INDEX indicator on the SVO-9500MD/
9500MDP flashes.
2 To erase an index marker before the current
position: Press the REW button,
To erase an index marker after the current
position: Press the F FWD button.
The SVO-9500MD/9S500MDP scans through the
tape, and starts playback at an index marker.
3 Check the playback video, and press the ERASE
button to erase the index marker.
This erases the index marker, and then the scan
continues.
