When the "BEEP" (answering carrier

eThe START indicator will light.

and then the document will begin to transmit.

eTo stop transmission, push the STOP/CLEAR
button.
Adding Extra Pages—if you are sending two or more pages

Insert the next page before the end of the
four beeps.
When the unit is ready to send an extra page,
4 beeps will be heard.
When the document has been sent, the line
will be disconnected automatically.
eThe START indicator will go out.
NOTE:
eBegin by transmitting the FAX CORRESPONDENCE leaflet (included) to several of your business
associates to confirm that your unit is functioning correctly, and to inform them of the procedure for
transmitting documents and/or recording voice- messages on your unit.
eEven while you are talking with the other party using the external telephone, you can send your
document to the other party by simply pushing the START button.
The conversation will be interrupted temporarily during transmitting your document, and you can
resume it without any operation.
