NOTE:
ePlease record your OGM using the examples shown. Remember that the caller will have to push
the asterisk button to begin transmission.
eThe unit may be set to record an unlimited incoming message in the "VOX" position or an
incoming message limited to 1 minute in the "1 minute" position of the recording time. The
2 sample OGMs above correspond to these 2 conditions.
elf someone is unable to transmit a document to you after several tries, we recommend the
following.
(i) Shorten your OGM (e.g. "To send a FAX, push the asterisk button."), and ask them to try again.
(ii) Set the FUNCTION selector to the FAX position if transmission cannot be done by using step
shown in (i) above.
OGM Backup
After recording your OGM on the microchip, it will be recorded onto the tape from the
microchip as a backup.
If a power failure takes place or the POWER switch is set to OFF, the OGM recorded on the
microchip will be erased. 7 seconds after the power is restored, the unit will automatically re-record
the OGM onto the microchip using the OGM recorded on the tape.
