DESCRIPTION
This procedure will aid the technician in the removal and replacement of the Input Rectifier.
MATERIALS NEEDED

PROCEDURE
1. Remove the input power to the OPITIMARC® CV/CC500 machine.
2. Perform the Case Cover Removal Procedure, remove the case top.
WARNING
3. Locate the Input Rectifier. See figure E.4. Using a 8mm wrench, remove the MOV assembly from leads 1(19#), 2(20#)
and 3(21#), label and remove the input leads and output leads on the Input Rectifier.
Note: The RTV glue should be applied between the MOV assembly and the terminals after reconnecting.
Note: Incorrect installation of leads 207 and 209 will cause damage to the PC Board, label them if necessary.
4. Using a screwdriver, remove the two bolts that securing the Input Rectifier. See Figure E.5.
Note: 0.88CC E2529 should be applied between the rectifier and the heatsink while reassembly.
Note: Torque the bolt to 2.0 N.M while reassembly.
