Service and repair should be performed only by Lincoln Electric factory trained personnel. Unauthorized repairs
performed on this equipment may result in danger to the technician or machine operator and will invalidate your factory
warranty. For your safety and to avoid electrical shock, please observe all safety notes and precautions detailed

DESCRIPTION
This procedure will aid the technician in the removal and replacement of the Input Rectifier.
MATERIALS NEEDED
8mm
Wrench
Screwdriver
PROCEDURE
1. Remove the input power to the OPITIMARC® CV/CC500 machine.
2. Perform the Case Cover Removal Procedure, remove the case top.
WARNING
3. Locate the Input Rectifier. See figure E.4. Using a 8mm wrench, remove the MOV assembly from leads 1(19#), 2(20#)
and 3(21#), label and remove the input leads and output leads on the Input Rectifier.
Note: The RTV glue should be applied between the MOV assembly and the terminals after reconnecting.
Note: Incorrect installation of leads 207 and 209 will cause damage to the PC Board, label them if necessary.
4. Using a screwdriver, remove the two bolts that securing the Input Rectifier. See Figure E.5.
Note: 0.88CC E2529 should be applied between the rectifier and the heatsink while reassembly.
Note: Torque the bolt to 2.0 N.M while reassembly.
