Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 2.5 screws (1) that secure the touchpad bracket to the computer,
and then remove the bracket (2).
2.
Remove the tape (1) from the connector on the touchpad.
3.
Disconnect the cable from the touchpad ZIF connector (2).
4.
Peel the thin conductive tape (3) off the touchpad.
5.
Remove the three broadhead Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (4) that secure the touchpad to the
computer.
6.
Lift the bottom of the touchpad (5) upward, and then pull the touchpad (6) away from the system
board and out of the computer.
To install the touchpad, reverse this procedure.
