NOTE: Some mild leverage will have to be applied to the top of the case so the wire drive assembly
will "clear" for removal. The harness will still be attached to the wire drive motor and trigger
interlock switch. Also, the rubber boot may become detached.
10. Perform any tests / replacement procedure.
REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
1. Carefully position the entire wire drive assembly into the machine.
NOTE: Make sure the rubber boot is positioned properly and all leads are cleared. Some mild
pressure may need to be applied to the top of the plastic case to properly seat the wire drive
assembly.
2. Using a 7/16" nutdriver, attach the bolt, lock washer, flat washer and large washer securing the
handle.
3. Using pliers, attach the gas hose to the brass gun bushing.
4. Using a 3/4" wrench, attach the bolt, washer and lock washer securing the heavy copper lead to the
brass feed plate. See Wiring Diagram.
5. Using a Phillips screwdriver, attach the screw to the front of the wire drive panel.
6. Using a 5/16" and a 3/8" nutdriver, attach the nut and screw securing the front of the wire drive
panel.
7. Using a 5/16" nutdriver, attach the four screws from the wire drive panel.
8. Carefully position the control box cover into the machine.
9. Using a 5/16" nutdriver, attach the four screws securing the control box cover to the machine.
