Making the right connections
Before connecting
Turn off all the components before connecting.
Connect the power cord last.
Make sure that you connect the white PIN-plug to the
left (white) jack and the red PIN-plug to the right (red)
jack.
The orange jacks are for digital input or output connec-
tions.
Connect everything securely. Loose connections can
lead to distortion.
To prevent damage to the cords, connect and discon-
nect by holding the plug and not the cord.
Make sure that the power cords and connection cords
do not get tangled with each other. This can lead to dis-
tortion.

Cassette deck or DAT deck for TAPE 1
Check the power consumption of the component you wish
to connect before connecting it. Refer to the rear pane! of
the component or the specifications in the operator's
manual.
Do not exceed the total power consumption which is in-
dicated on the rear panel of the amplifier.
