UV-C TECHNOLOGY This product uses a nonreplaceable UV-C LED. It is on whenever the humidifier is on.     HOW AND WHY TO USE DEMINERALIZATION CARTRIDGES The HoMedics Demineralization Cartridge will help reduce the potential for white dust. The cartridge should be replaced every 30–40 fillings. The cartridge may need to be replaced more often if you are using very hard water.

    TO CLEAN THE SURFACE Clean the surface of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Before storing: Clean the tank, water reservoir, float hinge, and the transducer/ultrasonic membrane following the cleaning instructions for each part. Be sure all parts are completely dry before storing. After storing: Rinse the tank before use.
