Locking/unlocking the vehicle with KEYLESS-GO
Requirements
The key is outside the vehicle.

The distance between the key and the vehicle

does not exceed 3 ft (1 m).
The driver's door and the door on which the

door handle is used are closed.

Vehicles with Digital Vehicle Key: You can use
the Digital Vehicle Key like the conventional
vehicle key.
The door handles extend automatically:
when a vehicle key is detected (the vehicle is

then not yet unlocked)
when you unlock the vehicle with the key
R
when you touch one of the two outer sensor
R
surfaces on the door handle (when the vehicle
is unlocked)
The door handles retract automatically:
when you lock the vehicle with the key
R
when you touch one of the two outer sensor
R
surfaces on the door handle to lock the vehi-
cle
after convenience closing (
