* NOTE Impairment of the operating effi-
ciency of the vehicle or individual compo-
nents due to tampering with the on-board
electronics
The vehicle is equipped by the manufacturer
with various safety mechanisms that interact
with each other.
If the system detects tampering with the on-
board electronics due to an unauthorized
modification of control units and/or their soft-
ware/data, this may have the following
effects:
Individual vehicle functions are (tempora-
R
rily) no longer operational.
The overall vehicle is (temporarily) no lon-
R
ger operational.
Have the vehicle checked immediately at
#
a qualified specialist workshop and, if
necessary, reset to factory settings.
* NOTE Damage to the vehicle caused by
driving too fast and by blows to the under-
body and chassis parts
The vehicle can be damaged in the following
cases in particular:
The underside of the vehicle makes con-
R
tact with the ground, e.g. on a high curb or
an unpaved road.
The vehicle drives too quickly over an
R
obstacle, e.g. a curb, a speed bump or a
pothole.
A heavy object hits the underbody or chas-
R
sis components.
In these or similar situations, the vehicle body,
the underbody, chassis components, wheels
or tires and parts of the high-voltage battery
could be damaged even if this is not visible.
Components that have been damaged in this
way can fail unexpectedly or, in the event of
an accident, may not absorb the loads that
arise as intended.
Have the vehicle checked and repaired
#
immediately at a qualified specialist
workshop.

If driving safety is impaired during the

rest of the journey, stop immediately
paying attention to the traffic situation
and notify a qualified specialist work-
shop.
Electric vehicles have an electric motor. The elec-
tric motor's energy supply is provided by the high-
voltage on-board electrical system.
& DANGER Risk of death and fire due to
modified and/or damaged components of
the high-voltage on-board electrical sys-
tem
The vehicle's high-voltage on-board electrical
system is under high voltage. If you modify
component parts in the vehicle's high-voltage
on-board electrical system or touch damaged
component parts, you may be electrocuted. In
