Disassembly

This section describes how to disassemble a C331 telephone. Tools and equipment

used are listed in Table 1, preceding.

Many of the integrated devices used in this phone are vulnerable to damage from

ESD. Ensure adequate static protection is in place when handling, shipping, and

servicing any internal components.

Avoid stressing the plastic in any way to avoid damage to either the plastic or

internal components.

Ensure the phone is turned off.

Press down on the rear housing cover latch on the top of the phone, gently lift

the rear housing cover away from the latch, and lift the cover away from the

phone (see Figure 4).

To replace, align the rear housing cover to the front housing

Gently press the rear housing cover into position onto the front housing until

the rear housing cover snaps into place.
