(1) Adjusting the length of thread remaining after thread trimming
Turn thread tension nut No. 1 ❶ clockwise to shorten the length of thread remaining after thread trimming. Turn the nut counter-
clockwise to lengthen it.
(2) Adjusting the needle thread tension
Turn thread tension nut No. 2 ❷ clockwise to increase the needle thread tension, or counterclockwise to decrease it.
(3) Adjusting the bobbin thread tension
Turn tension adjustment screw ❸ clockwise to increase the bobbin thread tension, or counterclockwise to decrease it.

Gire el tornillo ❸ de ajuste de tensión hacia la derecha para aumentar la tensión del hilo de bobina, o hacia la izquierda para
disminuirla.
17. 糸取りばね／THREAD TAKE-UP SPRING／RESORTE TIRAHILO

(1) When you want to change the stroke of the spring :
1) Loosen screw ❷ in the stopper, and move stopper ❸ to the right or left to change stroke of thread take-up spring ❶.
2) Move the stopper to the right to increase the stroke of the thread take-up spring, or the left to decrease it.
(2) When you want to change the tension of the spring :
1) Loosen nut ❹, and move spring stud ❺ counterclockwise to increase the tension of the spring, or clockwise to decrease it.
(1) Cuando usted quiera cambiar el recorrido del resorte :
1) Afloje el tornillo ❷ en el retenedor, y mueva el retenedor ❸ hacia la derecha o izquierda para cambiar el recorrido del resorte
❶ tirahilo.
2) Mueva el retenedor hacia la derecha para aumentar el recorrido del resorte tirahilo, o hacia la izquierda para disminuirlo.
(2) Cuando usted quiera cambiar la tensión del resorte :
1) Afloje la tuerca ❹, y mueva el tornillo ❺ hacia la izquierda para aumentar la tensión del resorte, o hacia la derecha para dis-
minuirla.

1) 糸取りばね❶はストッパ止めねじ❷をゆるめ、ス
トッパ❸を左右に動かします。
2) ストッパを右へ動かせば動き量は大きくなり、左
へ動かせば小さくなります。
(2) 糸取りばねの強さをかえるとき
1) ナット❹をゆるめ、ばね軸❺を反時計方向へ回す
と強くなり、時計方向へ回すと弱くなります。
