M e a n i n g
The ink cartridge is not
correctly installed in
the machine.
The indicated ink
cartridge is low or out
of ink.
The number entered is
already stored in
another speed dial
location. The two
dashes refer to the
speed dial number you
enter.
The machine is
waiting for the
programmed interval
to automatically redial
a previously busy
station.
The document is
jammed in the
Automatic Document
Feeder.
The cover is not
securely latched.
S o l u t i o n
Following the procedure in Installing Ink
Cartridges in the WorkCentre XK50cx
Installation Guide, remove and re-install
the print cartridge.
Install a new ink cartridge.
Check the number and enter under
another location.
You can press the Start button to redial
immediately, or the Clear/Stop button to
cancel the redial operation.
Refer to "Clearing Jams" to remove any
jammed paper.
Press down on the cover until it clicks in
place.
