Part 2. Troubleshooting
Possible cause
Faulty stop valve.
Faulty heat exchanger thermistor.
Faulty expansion valve.
Faulty outdoor unit main PCB.
2.2.2.10. "F8-00" – System shutdown due to compressor internal temperature abnormality
Trigger
Temperature discharge pipe thermistor
exceeds the determined limit.
Possible cause
Stop valve is closed.
Refrigerant circuit is clogged
Humidity in refrigerant.
Non condensables in refrigerant.
Leaking refrigerant.
2.2.2.11. "H0-00" – Compressor sensor system abnormality
Trigger
DC voltage before compressor start-up is
out of range (0.5~4.5 V).
DC voltage before compressor start-up is
below 50 V.
Possible cause
Faulty outdoor unit main PCB.
Faulty outdoor inverter PCB.

Check
Check the stop valve.
Check heat exchanger thermistor.
Check the expansion valve.
Check if the HAP LED is blinking in regu-
lar intervals.
Check if the correct spare part is installed.
Check if the outdoor main PCB receives
power.
Effect
Unit will stop operating.
Check
Check stop valve.
Check for possible blockage (blockages
can be checked by measuring the refriger-
ant/pipe temperature. Sudden drop in
temperature could indicate a blockage
(remark: this is not valid for the expansion
valve)).
Check for humidity in the refrigerant.
Check for non condensables in refriger-
ant.
Check if there is a leakage on the refriger-
ant circuit
Effect
Unit will stop operating.
Unit will stop operating.
Check
Check if the HAP LED is blinking in regu-
lar intervals.
Check if the correct spare part is installed.
Check if the outdoor main PCB receives
power.
Check outdoor inverter PCB.
Check if the HAP LED is blinking in regu-
lar intervals.
Check if the correct spare part is installed.
2.2. Error based troubleshooting
Corrective action
Replace the stop valve when required.
Replace heat exchanger thermistor when
required.
Replace the expansion valve body or
motor when required.
Restore the power to the outdoor main
PCB.
Replace outdoor main PCB when HAP
LED is not blinking in regular intervals.
Reset
Manual reset via user interface.
Corrective action
Open stop valve fully when required.
Replace the blocked part.
In case of suspicion of humidity, recover,
vacuum and recharge with virgin refriger-
ant.
In case of suspicion of non condensables,
recover, vacuum and recharge with virgin
refrigerant.
Charge the correct refrigerant amount
when required.
Reset
Manual reset via user interface.
Manual reset via user interface.
Corrective action
Restore the power to the outdoor main
PCB.
Replace outdoor main PCB when HAP
LED is not blinking in regular intervals.
Restore the power to the outdoor inverter
PCB.
Replace the outdoor inverter PCB when
required.
