Note: The nondisplay attribute (hexadecimal 27) will still
display a blinking rectangle for a normally
nondisplayable character.
How to use this display:
1.
Slowly decrease the Brightness control; observe
the pattern of Hs that alternates in intensity.
2.
Adjust the Brightness control to obtain the best
character image.
3.
4.
Press the Spacebar once to position the cursor to
the right of SPECIFY ATTRIBUTES statement on
the display screen.
Key in one of the hexadecimal numbers shown on
the left side of the display screen; press the Enter
key .
Observe the results that take place on the right side of
the display screen. Compare these results with the
attribute description on the left. If a wrong entry is
made, the entry blinks at high intensity. Repeat steps 3
and 4 for each of the remaining hexadecimal numbers.
In addition to the attributes present on the display
screen, the following hexadecimal codes, marked by an
asterisk
(*).
supply combinations of attribute options.
