Other convenient tape functions
Prohibiting tape ejection
You can prohibit the tape ejection and can "lock" a tape in the cassette compartment.
Press and hoid TAPE «<B> and 4 for more than 2 seconds. "EJECT" flashes on the display
for about 5 seconds, and the tape is "locked."
To cancel the prohibition and "uniock" the tape, press and hold TAPE <@
and 4 for
more than 2 seconds again. "EJECT" flashes again for about 5 seconds, and this time the
tape is "unlock."

SOUND ADJUSTMENTS
The human ear is less sensitive to low and high frequencies at low volumes.
The loudness function can boost these frequencies to produce a well-balanced sound at iow
volume level.
Each time you press LOUD, the loudness function turns on/off alternatively.

You can select a preset sound adjustment suitable to the music genre.
Each time you press SOUND, the sound mode changes as follows.
