CHANGE THE SLIDERS

Place the assembled unit onto a table so that the back of the
spreader is easily accessible.
For your information: the summer slider (part 16) is shown
below.
Locate the R-pin (part 23) that helps hold the slider in place
on the underside of the slider. Remove the R-pin.
Push the top of the pivot bracket (V-shaped plate) so the
slider (part 16 or 18) is pushed back and the pivot rod (part 3)
is loosened.
Remove the pivot rod (part 3) by pushing the tip through the
hole at the top of the slider. When the pivot rod is removed,
remove the slider (part 16 or 18).
