Carriage
Removal
(1) Remove
the
printing mechanism from
the
machine. (Refer
to the
disassembly
instruction page
4).
(2)
Remove the
screw, be
lt
tension
spring and tension frame
®
attached to
the
left
side of
the
frame assembly
.
(3)
Remove the timing
pulley shaft(L ,) and
timing pulley(G).
(4)
Remove the
E-rings
@
and
©
from carriage shaft
,
and then remove the
two screws
from
the solenoid block.
(5) Slide the carriage shaft out
to the
left side. (Do
not
sc ratch
the
shaft).
(6)
Remove the E-ring
@
from
correction shaft
(Refer
to
Fig
3-6), and slide
the correction
shaft assembly out to
the
right side.
(7)
Remove the
two screws and the car riage
motor
bracket assembly
.
(8)
Remove
the
timing
be
lt
from
the
timing pulley(R).
(9) Move
the
head flex holder
B in the direction
of
the arrow and remove
it (Fig 3-7).
(Note)
Assemble in
the reverse order.
