This feature is convenient when you have a telephone call, etc.
Press MUTING.
Press the button again to cancel.
"MUTING" goes out.
Muting can also be cancelled by lowering the volume all the way
(--dB).
When the system is turned off, the muting operation will be
automatically cancelled.
Press -DISPLAY/-DEMO.
Every time you press the button, the spectrum analyzer will change
as shown on the left.
Using an external unit
Listening to an external source

1, Press AUX.
The power will come on automatically.
2. Start playback from the externa! source. (For details, refer to the
owner's manual of the equipment.)
Recording from an external source
Follow steps I-E on page 20.
Press AUX.
Press ®REC/STOP (recording starts).
Start playback from the external source. (For details, refer to the
owner's manual of the equipment.)

Reduce the volume level, and connect the headphones.
Plug type: 3.5 mm ( '% in) stereo
Avoid listening for prolonged periods of time to prevent hearing
damage.
