Standby, switch

Set the standby

switch to SEND,

and press the key.

Transmission is also possible by pressing the key with the

standby switch set to REC. (Semi-break-in operation)

RF PWR control

Adjust the RF PWR

control

so that the meter

pointer

deflects to about half of the ALC zone.

By turing this control, the

time required for changing

from

transmit

to receive

after the key is released

can be adjusted.

Turning this control clock-

wise

prolongs

the

time,

and

turning

it counter-

clockwise shortens it.

A side tone oscillator is provided in TS-670, permitting monitoring

of your CW signal.

AM mode

Select the desired frequency.

Set the MODE switch to AM.

Set the meter switch to RF.
