• Slowly lower the cutting disc with lever (9) onto
the workpiece and make the cut with minimum
contact pressure.
• After finishing the job, move the angle grinder to
starting position.
• After completing a cut, switch off the machine,
allow the motor to come to a complete standstill
and then prepare for next cutting task.
Removing or inserting workpieces while the
cutting disc is rotating can lead to injury.
• Do not apply excessive contact pressure other-
wise the cutting disc may wear out prematurely
and the machine or workpiece may be
damaged.

7 Repairs

Repairs to electrical tools must be carried out by
qualified electricians ONLY!
Any Metabo power tool in need of repair can be
sent to one of the addresses listed in the spare
parts list.
Please enclose a description of the fault with the
device.

8 Environmental Protection

Metabo's packaging can be 100% recycled.
Worn out power tools and accessories contain
considerable amounts of valuable raw and plastic
materials, which can be recycled.
These instructions are printed on chlorine-free
bleached paper.
Only for EU countries: Never dispose of
power tools in your household waste! In
accordance with European Guideline 2002/
96/EC on used electronic and electric equipment
and its implementation in national legal systems,
used power tools must be collected separately
and handed in for environmentally compatible
recycling.
