2. Open the paper cover. Press the blue lever
all the way down to the bottom position and
hold it there for one second. Release the blue
lever and the Check indicator will blink for
about ten seconds if paper is in the printer.
(You can't push the blue lever past about
halfway if there is no black ink cartridge in
the printer.)
