AUTO POWER OFF (APO)
Auto Power Off is useful when you happen to leave the
power ON unintentionally, This function saves battery
consumption. After 2 hours elapse with no key entries
and no cail received, APO tums OFF the transceiver's
power; however, 1 minute before the power turns OFF. a
warning tone sounds (4 double beeps). When the power
is tumied OFF by APO. lite display cleats and the APO
icon starts blinking. To turn ihe power back ON, press
the POWER switch.
'With the transceiver power OFF,
ress and hold the UP key, then press
the POWER switch.
ess the UP or DOWN key to select
'AP? (Menu No. 7).
