Use location

Tap the on/off icon to turn location on or off.

Recent access

Shows the list of apps which have recently requested access to your location information.

App location permissions

For each app installed on your phone, you can select whether or not the app can access the
phone's location information.

Location services

Manage your phone's location-based services provided by Google.
► From the Location screen, tap Location services.
Emergency Location Service
See Emergency Location
Wi-Fi scanning/Bluetooth scanning
You can let your phone scan for nearby Wi-Fi networks or Bluetooth devices in order to help
apps and services get better location information.
You can also access other Google Location menus such as Earthquake alerts, Google
Location Accuracy, Google Location History™, and Google Location Sharing.

Safety & Emergency
Use this feature to save and share your emergency information including your emergency
contacts and medical information. Also, you can set up some very helpful safety measures on
your phone.
► From the Apps launcher, tap Settings > Safety & emergency to open the Safety &
emergency screen.

Personal Safety

Set up Personal Safety app.
1. From the Safety & emergency screen, tap OPEN PERSONAL SAFETY.
2. Choose an account if required.
Tap Add contact to register your emergency contacts and tap Next.
