3.4.2.2 - Picture
3.4.2.2a – Picture for TV and Video Mode
Note: Below are the options for the TV and Video mode. See Section 3.4.2.2b for options in PC
mode.
Brightness – Adjusts the black levels of the picture. Users may
need to readjust the brightness after the LCD TV warms up.
Color – Adjusts the color saturation to add or reduce the amount
of color from the picture.
Contrast - Adjusts the white levels of the picture. Users may
need to readjust the contrast after the LCD TV warms up.
Tint - Adjusts the color of flesh tones.
Sharpness - Adjust the amount of detail enhancement.
Gamma – Preset contrast scheme to enhance picture quality.
Choose from the following options: Normal, VIVID1 or
VIVID2.
3.4.2.2b - Picture for PC Mode
Note: The below options are only applicable for PC Mode.
Auto Contrast - Automatically adjusts the horizontal phase of the
image for the best contrast.
Contrast – Adjusts to "sharpen" the picture quality. The black
portions of the picture become richer in darkness and the
white become brighter.
Brightness - Adjusts to brighten the darkest parts of the picture.
Backlight – Adjusts the brightness of the picture while
preserving the picture's color.
3.4.2.3 - Sound
Treble – Adjusts to enhance the high frequency sounds.
Bass – Adjusts to enhance the low frequency sounds.
Balance – Adjusts the level of sounds coming from the left and
right speakers.
Sound Mode – Select from the following: Mono, Stereo or SAP.
Note: these options are only available in TV mode.
