Safety Rules

♦ Do not use the flash close to anyone's eyes, especially when taking pictures of a baby.
♦ When a fault arises, power OFF the camera immediately and remove the batteries or disconnect the
USB connection with a PC.
♦ Power OFF the camera and remove the batteries or disconnect the USB connection with a PC when
the camera becomes very warm, emit smoke, emit unusual odor or in any other abnormal state.
Continuing the use of the camera in these situations may cause fire or electric shock.
♦ Do not cover or wrap the camera when it is warm. This may cause the heat to build up and distort the
camera casing or cause a fire.
♦ Do not allow water or foreign objects to enter the camera.
♦ Do not attempt to modify or disassemble the camera.
♦ Do not use the camera when it has been dropped or when the casing is damaged. This may cause a
fire or an electric shock.
♦ Do not use the camera in bathroom or shower
♦ Do not touch any metal parts of the camera during a thunderstorm. This can cause an electric shock
due to induced current from the lighting discharge.
♦ If the batteries leak and fluids come into contact with your skin or clothing, immediately flush the
affected area thoroughly with clean water and seek medical treatment.
♦ When discarding or storing batteries, cover the battery terminals with an insulation tape. Contacts with
other metallic objects or batteries could cause the batteries to ignite or burst.
♦ Do not heat, modify or attempt to disassemble the batteries.
♦ Do not drop or subject the batteries to impacts.
♦ Do not attempt to recharge lithium or alkaline batteries. Recharge rechargeable batteries only.
♦ Do not store the batteries with metallic products.
♦ When used under a strong electro-static discharge environment such as directly under lightening or
transformer, the camera may go into an idle/fault mode. Simply remove the batteries to reset the
camera and then power on the camera again.
♦ Make sure the camera is under your supervision at all times when it is connected to a computer via
the USB cable. The camera may become very warm when connecting to the computer for a long
period of time. Please disconnect the camera from the USB port and power off the camera to allow it
to cool down.
