How to Install the Digital Camera Driver and software
Camera Driver:
Windows 2000/ME/XP operating systems support mass storage; therefore, it is not required to install the
driver to download images, videos, or audio files. Windows 98SE users MUST install this driver to
download the images, videos, and audio files.
Insert the supplied CD software into the CD-ROM drive. The CD should auto run. If the CD does not auto
run, go to Start → Run and type in "d:\setup.exe" (where D:\ is the CD-ROM drive). The Installer Menu
will appear:
1. Press "Digital Camera Driver"
2. Insert the smaller USB connector in the USB port of your CAMERA
3. Insert the larger USB connector in the USB port on your computer.
4. Now the CAMERA is BUS-powered. This means the USB port provides the CAMERA
with power as soon as it is connected to the computer and switches it on automatically.
5. The computer/operating system recognizes the CAMERA as a new unknown device.
You are then requested to install the appropriate driver. If your computer ask for driver
location, you need to select the CD-ROM.
6. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation of the driver for still
pictures.
