Note: The default setting resumes after the
batteries are changed.

How to Capture Digital Still Image

1. Power ON the camera by sliding the lens cover open.
2. The camera's default mode is the Still Capture preview screen; otherwise, press the MODE button to
toggle to the Still Capture mode (shown below)
3. Frame the subject through the LCD or the optical viewfinder, hold the camera steady or set it on a
tripod.
4. Press the Shutter button to take a picture. The camera will beep once to confirm that a picture has been
taken.
Note: The camera will only beep if it is set to "Sound ON" in Settings option.
The camera's button serves as the display option button so that the LCD icons will be removed
