The deflection section of the TA7698AP (KA2154) includes a sync seperator, a sawtooth type horizontal
AFC, @ horizontal oscillator, a horizontal pre—driver, a vertical oscillator and a vertical pre—driver.
The GND line of this section is seperated to the-other, but the Vcc line except the AFC and the hori—
zontal section is common
to the other sections.
SYNC seperator.
Pin 37 is an input terminal of the base-time constant type sync seperator. The positive—going video
signal from Pin 40 (inverter output) is applied to Pin 37 through a sync seperator time constant cir—
cuit. The slice levels of the horizontal sync and the vertical sync can be set independenty as described
in Fig. 19.
